Sangha Celebration of Lunar New Year

Dear friends,

Chinese New Year always brings back warm and joyful memories of my childhood. Celebrating Tet with the four-fold sangha at Blue Cliff Monastery this past weekend inspired me to extend the festivities in my house. [four-fold Sangha means monks, nuns, laymen and laywomen]

Please join me and my husband for a vegetarian dinner on Saturday Feb 7 from 6 to 10 pm. Please bring a beverage, a singing voice, a musical instrument, your mindful self ....... or whatever you wish to share.

Subway - take the 7 train to 46th/Bliss Street. Walk towards Manhattan 
(west) on the north side of Queens Boulevard. Turn right on 44th 
Street and continue for 2.5 blocks (past Skillman Ave) and cross over 
to the other side of the street. Our house is on the left of the first 
mews/courtyard.

Bus - take the Q32 from Penn Station on 32nd St or along Madison Ave 
and 59th St. Get off at the 44th St stop and cross over to the other 
side of Queens Boulevard. Walk down 44th St for 2.5 blocks (past 
Skillman Ave) and cross over to the other aide of the street. Our 
house is on the left of the first mews/courtyard.
