What is Engaged Buddhism

"What is Engaged Buddhism" is the topic of this year's Buddhist Forum, on Saturday March 28, sponsored by the Buddhist Council of New York.** There will be presenters from different Sanghas, including ours, questions and small group discussion, along with lunch. We are all invited,

The teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh will be represented by a Monastic from Blue Cliff and one of our NYC lay practitioners. We expect several or more Monks and Nuns from Blue Cliff to attend. What: Buddhist Council of New York, Annual Buddhist Forum, 2009 “What is Engaged Buddhism”

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm (note: registration with light breakfast will begin at 9:30am and lunch will be served at 11:30am)
