Day of Mindfulness March 15 and other events

Below is a listing of some upcoming and ongoing Sangha meetings. The events listed are all 'inspired by the teachings and practice' of Thich Nhat Hanh and self-identity as part of the 'Thich Nhat Hanh tradition.' They are interconnected with each other, and include experienced practitioners who share responsibiliity for facilitating. All practice in the same way, and each has its own flavor.


Ongoing Meetings:
Manhattan:

Tuesday Night 7-9:30pm, Room #630, Riverside Church [91 Claremont Avenue].

Thursday Afternoon: 12:30-2pm, Rutgers Presbyterian Church, Daniel Russell Room

Days of Mindfulness: Next Day is May 17, 10-4:30, at Riverside Church, as above.

Brooklyn: Sundays, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, in basement of the Church of Gethsemane, 1012 8th Avenue. [F train to 7th Avenue] See http://www.rockblossom.org/

Queens: Second and Fourth Sunday of the month, 4:30-6:30pm. At Walter's home: 48-19 44th street, apt 2, Sunnyside, Queens, Contact person is Tasha, sukhadesign@yahoo.com Please take the #7 train to the 46th/bliss stop. Exit the station on the west stairway {stairway closest to Manhattan}. Walk two blocks west {toward Manhattan} on Queens Blvd. You will come to 44th st. Turn LEFT {south} onto 44TH ST and continue for two blocks. After 1 block you will come to a 6 way intersection of Greenpoint Avenue, 47th Avenue and 44th St. After 2 blocks you will arrive at 48th avenue. On the southeast corner of 48th avenue you will see a small church. Continue past the church on 44th st. 48-19 will be the second house on the left after the church. Please press the top doorbell for the 2nd floor apartment. * It takes ONLY 15 minutes from Grand Central to Sunnyside, Queens!
