Thich Nhat Hanh Way is one step closer to manifesting: the Co-Naming of 109th Street between Broadway and Riverside Drive as 'Thich Nhat Hanh Way' was approved in the meeting of the Transportation Committee of Community Board 7. Next it goes to the full community board meeting in October and then to the city council in November. [Thay lived at 306 109 Street in 1962-3-See Fragrant Palm Leaves.] Our Thanks to Riverside Sangha Member Leora Amira and Sangha Friend Christina Rosati whose vision and diligent work are bearing fruit.
